Considered as ‘Queen of Tropical Fruits’, mangosteen has white flesh and reddish purple outer shell. It is available between November and March. High in calcium, phosphorus, vitamin B and C, it has a sweet taste and scent.
Most probably the most beautiful, unique exotic-looking fresh fruit in the world, rambutan is thick with a hairy outer skin. It has mainly two varieties where one has a sweet, juicy flesh that sticks to the seed, while the other has a crisp, white flesh that comes off the seed easily. High in nutrition, the fruit is seasonal between May – September.
